"The Hostel is very comfortable Nice and modern with a lovely bar on the ground floor. The only negative point is the position,up on the hill,so it's not very easy to reach if you are coming with luggages or buggies and young kids. Overall is a good price for the expensive Lyon."

"Worst hostel I ever stayed, urine smell in rooms. Apparently toilet water comes out through sink and shower drain and the whole room smells like urine. The smell was unbearable when I walked in to dorm. My AirPods got stolen, absolutely no privacy in rooms. Beds are open with no curtains . Shower area is gross and you have to hold a button for water, no shower head either, just a tube. "

"Everything here is an attempt to cut costs and make more money. Bed not made (fine), no Aircon despite crazy heat, towels for rent (3.5 euro), lose your keycard (5 euro to replace a bit of plastic), showers on very short timers, toiletries not refilled, bathrooms dirty with mould on ceilings, ants in rooms. Want to leave your bag for a few hours before leaving? Pay per hour for lockers. Awful awful attitude for a hostel."

"Old, damaged furniture and half-functioning old appliances. Unmaintained garden and a mishmash of old garden furniture. It may still be appreciated from an ecological perspective, but then it must also be sold as such at a suitable price. The hostess is capricious in her hospitality and several times gives us the feeling that our presence ruins her French idyll. She makes unreasonable threats when confronted with criticism. "Excellent hotel, with a stunning ground floor entrance/reception. Rooms and hallway a little tired, but it didn’t detract from the stay. If you get a family bedroom make sure you got a proper shower - ours was one over a bath without a shower curtain so it wasn’t the easiest to shower in without water going everywhere. Would definitely stay again if we found ourselves in Lyon."
