"This was a lovely place to stay for a short business trip. The staff were really kind, both fluent in English and allowing me to practice my French! The spa and jacuzzi are also excellent and highly recommended, with equally kind and professional staff. My only complaint is that the complimentary espresso pods and teabags weren't refreshed after my first night, so I ended up heading out across the road for a morning coffee on my second day. Otherwise, everything was spotless, welcoming, and comfy!"

"The Fourviere is a staggeringly lovely hotel in a beautifully renovated period property. Our room had a great view of the Cathederal and was easy walking distance from both funiculars. The breakfast was very good and offered lots of options to suit my dairy intolerance. The indoor spa and outdoor heated pool were very relaxing. "

"Great location from the train station the room was really nice. Better ventilation in the bathroom would be nice and resurface the shower floor it was pretty scary for a couple in there 60's. "

"Check in is on floor 32. We were greeted by wonderful knowledgeable staff and our room was on the 37th floor. The room was a great size and absolutely spotless. The bathroom was perfect with everything you need. The hotel is in a good position for shopping, however transport is difficult due to the construction works. If I have one negative then it's the heat in the room which is far too hot. We will definitely be back that's for sure. "

"This is a wonderful hotel in which to stay the night before an early-morning flight out of Lyon. The location could not be better, just across the street from the terminal. The front desk staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The room was spectacularly clean and very, very comfortable -- with a marvelous bed. The restaurant had very good food and an excellent waitstaff. Highly recommended."
