"I stayed at The Bloc Hotel during a short trip to Birmingham for an event, and overall it was a great experience. The location is really convenient – just a short walk from the train station and close to the Bullring, which made things a lot easier after a long journey. It was a relief to know I didn’t have far to go once I arrived in the city. I mainly used the hotel to drop off my things and get some rest, as I was out all day at the event. For that purpose, it was ideal – affordable, clean, and comfortable. A nice touch was the free water bottles provided in the room, which was appreciated. One small downside: there wasn’t a mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom. So if you’re someone who needs a mirror for makeup or getting ready, that might be a bit inconvenient. It would be great if they added one to the room in the future. Overall, a solid choice for a short and functional stay in the city."

"Good location for the Wharfside and city centre. With a 20 minute walk to Chinatown and Gay Village. Breakfast is included and was nice. They had a pancake making machine which was nice to use."

"Great location- we stayed as we were watching a show at the Birmingham Rep which was just down the road. Lively central location with plenty of eateries. Hotel is of a great standard too. Very comfortable and well priced. Perfect for a one night lay over."

The parking was a bit of a incase we chose as it said it has parking but the parking is walk away about ten mins and because we arrived after nine it wasn’t that pleasant walk from the car park . We could have dropped our bags first but other than that it was perfect "
