"Marie is a warm and inviting host, nothing appears to be too much trouble. Our room was spacious with an outdoor seating & patio area. The guest house is on the edge of town and so we used a cab service when heading out for dinner in the evening. Marie organised and booked(very cheap and nice driver) She also recommended 2 restaurants where the food was very good. The Swartberg Pass drive was something else and we were glad to reach the very lovely Prince Albert town which was lovely. The Caves...

"What an amazing stay! We arrived late at night, but were given such a warm welcome and even asked what we wanted to eat in advance so they could have it ready for us. A simply gorgeous location in the mountains. The focus on fresh, farm ingredients too was a treat. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I would return here in a heartbeat. "

"Our biggest disappointment was the swimming pool and the area around it. It was the main reason we booked Karoo Life Bed & Breakfast. We really wanted to be able to spend time around the pool relaxing during the very hot days we were visiting. The pool was dirty and not cleaned once during our 3 night stay. "The eco village is tucked away in the private nature reserve. Wonderful views of springboks as you drive to the eco village on the grounds.
