"Superb stay in a lovely quiet location. Michael was very attentive and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Room was very clean and had all necessary in room goodies. Breakfast was superb and the perfect start to the day."

"Very helpful staff on reception. Great evening meal. Lovely choice and fresh & hot. Excellent service too… Our room overlooked the lake and was fabulous… Whilst the hotel is a little tired the staff were not at all. They were great. A great place for walking around the lake ."

"Fantastic lodge, so well looked after with all the little bits you need. Superb location with amazing views, very peaceful and great base for visiting other areas of the lake district. Would definitely recommend staying here."
