Took home a few gallons and should have stocked more. My dog loved the property as well. Don’t forget to utilize their fire pits to roast marshmallows and gaze upon the Appalachian night stars and constellations."

As soon as we entered, we felt right at home with all of the cozy, warm furnishings and wood interior. We loved the location -- good proximity to Hawksnest for snow tubing and even better driving distance to other towns like Boone and West Jefferson. We could not have asked for anything more and will definitely be back!"

"We came up for a day in West Jefferson & a night at Tweetsie Railroad with my granddaughter. This house was perfect for our stay! The host sent detailed directions including an alternate route in case of bad weather. We arrived after dark in a downpour of rain & had no problems at all finding it or getting in. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again. It was exactly as described and such a charming home. Thanks to the host for a great stay! "
