"We come here almost every year for my daughter‘s birthday, which she requests every year. And she loves to stay in the farmhouse because all the animals are nearby. You can meet Mr. Walton at the barn in the mornings and help feed the animals and visit the horses. There’s a fun treasure hunt and fairy forest. We have also stayed at the nest in the past and had a great time, but my daughter likes being down at the farmhouse with all of the animals, especially Piper who would visit us every day....

"Loved the cabin and the owner. Great deck with grill and lights. Close to Mt Rogers and Grayson Highlands. Very quiet and dark sky at night for star gazing. "

"A home that has the luxury of 2025 but the feel of the 1900’s.What a great place to stay you can look out the window in the morning and see God’s beauty from the cattle to the mountains.The home has the original floors original walls from the early 1900s what a place to stay you can imagine being there and knowing that someone churned butter in that home, they canned their own food in that home that Home represents love if you want a place to stay as a blast from the past stay in this place!!"

"I specialize in the identification and removal of mold and other hazardous materials in hospitals and sensitive areas. There was visible mold, active leaks, and the smell of mildew throughout. The pictures were very misleading. The real problem here is we were visiting the area for an industry event (healthcare construction) and I brought a representative from a local healthcare facility who just so happened to be immunocompromised and battling cancer. Thats not a good look. I won't stay here...

"Really fun and beautiful place. The Christmas decor was so thoughtfully placed and you can tell someone put a whole lot of effort making it cozy and beautiful! We didn't need anything. They had extra of everything! We definitely heard the squirrels at night, but we turned on a box fan to drown out the noise and we slept great in the super comfortable beds. "The inside of the Cabin is nice and was clean. The second cabin on the property is right next door. We looked forward to the creek but the Cabin is on top of a big hill so you have to walk pretty much straight down and hike back up. Back porch is nice and private and enjoyed rocking chairs. Sunsets were nice also."

"Wonderful family friendly cabin in a great location. Had no problem catching a few trout in the creek and stargazing at night. We had a great time cooking smores in the firepit and exploring some of the property. Everyone we saw was very friendly. My only complaint is the other cabin on the property. It is extremely close and the listing doesn't really mention it. It wasn't being rented during our stay, so it wasn't an issue, but I could see how some people might not be a fan of it. Overall,...
