"Room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Bed very soft. Breakfast good. Had evening meal, daily carvery. Food only lukewarm and vegetables overcooked. Staff were attentive and did offer to warm my dinner up. Think the chef could tske actions to improve food by cooking vegetables in smaller amounts to maintain freshness. Dining toom rather chilly. "

"All the staff here are delightful & extremely hard working. I could see how rushed in the restaurant they were but the staff were pulling all the stops out to accommodate the diners. A lovely spacious room but I thought the wash basin was absurdly small. my kitchen washing up bowl is larger than the sink in the bathroom. "

"I’m not a fan of self service checkin/out but that’s just how things are going. The room met my needs, the breakfast options were great even managing to order a fried slice of bread as a holiday treat. Would have preferred that the bites menu was continued into the evening service as sometimes it is just too late for a full sit down menu. It was a shame that the pool table was a victim of the refurb and although there was a rather magnificent piano in that general location, it was never...
