" Seemed a nice pub, curtains fell down in the single bedroom. Toilet didn't flush properly had to fix it ourselves Wifi was okay wasn't very warm but put that down to being an old building Breakfast was nice, staff were pleasant Shower didn't heat up very well Location was lovely carpark at the back was expensive Thanks for a lovely time A"

"We checked in to this beautiful old inn, and were greeted by owner Johnathan, we were shown to our room and told if we needed anything just ask. Being the winter the kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday which Johnathan apologised for, we replied it’s absoulutly fine. He told us of the local Chinese just up the road and said please feel free to bring it back to our room to eat, which we did. Excellent Chinese takeaway. "Lovely room in a nice spot close to town. Geraldine the owner was so welcoming we felt really at home! Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast excellent. Somerset House is near enough to walk to seaside and promenade and close to station for days out. Would recommend for a pleasant short break :-)"

"I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles! I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!). "We booked last minute and so pleased we found the derby inn. Very helpful and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. We would love to come back in the winter when they have there log fires on in the quaint rooms. Thank you for a lovely couple of days away. "

"Good spacious property. Dining table very sticky but other than that everything else spot on. Promenade in grange disappointing - wanted to catch full moon but no lights meant we had to walk on the road."

Stunning place, room was amazing!

"The room was unbelievable and the view stunning! Had the most amazing time celebrating my birthday and felt extra special with a glass of Prosecco when we arrived and birthday card in the room. The staff were also really lovely and restaurants food was delish!"

"The hotel is located on the main road into Windermere and has its own parking. Check in was fast and the receptionist was very helpful. I was a little disappointed as I didn’t realise that access to the pool with kids is only between 9am - 1pm so we had to move our plans around and take the kids the following morning. The room was fantastic, it was spotless and very spacious. It was nice and warm and included all the necessary essentials to make it a comfortable stay. The leisure centre is impeccably maintained and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Would highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to use again in the future. "
