"We absolutely loved everything about the canon and its surroundings. Bed was very comfortable. The cabin is awesome and you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into it. It’s very private. Loved sitting outside with the fire pit and looking at the stars. Thank you! It was better than expected! "

"Good and quiet other than cold weather which no one can predict "

"Perfect quiet getaway spot. Pool was perfect and house was all you need. Kids LOVED their own space upstairs in loft."

"My wife and I stayed here to just getaway for the night. It has everything you could need all there. The hosts communicate well and are very hospitable. The only negative if any, would be that you’re right next to the hosts home. It’s like a guest house. Other than we loved it."

"Such a beautiful little shack and an amazing view. Everything is super clean and the beds are very comfortable I would just suggest maybe some extra blankets on hand! Has a mini fridge, coffee maker, even a toaster. This was a great stay for a small family like ours. "

"This was my group's third time staying at The Rove at L5. Like previous stays/reviews, we were very pleased with the property. One thing I can add this year is that it ii obvious that they are investing money into this property. There were some upgrades that were noticed by my group. Also, my caterer backed out at the last minute. The property manager, Brandi, gave me some recommendations that saved the day. I have found her to always be responsive and helpful."

"Our family of 5 stayed for a long weekend getaway. It was the perfect location to be near the Dallas Fort Worth area and also close enough to drive to Waco. Super clean and quiet with all the amenities of home. The office was a nice added feature so I could get a little work in while away. The bath robes were a nice added touch. We were cozy and content our entire stay. Kids loved the hot tub and the big TV! "
