"My wife and I stayed here to just getaway for the night. It has everything you could need all there. The hosts communicate well and are very hospitable. The only negative if any, would be that you’re right next to the hosts home. It’s like a guest house. Other than we loved it."

"Perfect place for a getaway! My 12 yr old and I spent most of our time outside by the fire pit and walking to the lake which is 4 mins away. My son loved looking for fossils in the back yard and added his snail to the collection on the shelf by the back door. The cabin has everything you need as far as small appliances and although we mostly grilled, there’s an air fryer, blender, kurig, toaster stove fridge and microwave. "Such a beautiful little shack and an amazing view. Everything is super clean and the beds are very comfortable I would just suggest maybe some extra blankets on hand! Has a mini fridge, coffee maker, even a toaster. This was a great stay for a small family like ours. "

"This was my group's third time staying at The Rove at L5. Like previous stays/reviews, we were very pleased with the property. One thing I can add this year is that it ii obvious that they are investing money into this property. There were some upgrades that were noticed by my group. Also, my caterer backed out at the last minute. The property manager, Brandi, gave me some recommendations that saved the day. I have found her to always be responsive and helpful."

"We took a short "staycation" to enjoy the large house so everyone could have their own rooms. The beds were so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud in the master. The hot tub and sauna were thoroughly enjoyed because the weather didn't cooperate with swimming in the pool. It was a perfect place to bring our dog because the yard was fully enclosed. "The house is large, lots of beds for a family of 13. Ages 1 to 64. The house is centrally located for the DFW area attractions that appeal to a family on Spring Break. Excellent response time with the owner when it was needed. The pool was cold. One grandson braved a quick pool plunge. The hot tub was great. The cover was split. Unfortunately, the Texas sun does that to tub covers. We would definitely choose this property again if the need arrives. "
