"I was scammed by this hostel, I reserved 10 beds, and confirmed with Expedia. Once at the hostel I was told the reservation was only for 3 beds and was forced to pay for the "extra" beds. Expedia adviced me to pay in cash and they would refund me.. This never happened "

"I love this place! I stayed on my way to Lake Atitlan and loved it so much that I changed back to this property from an airport hotel to spend my last night before returning to the states. I can’t recommend this hotel more. Everyone is kind, helpful, the breakfast/coffee amazing, and the rooms are simple but sooo comfortable and elegant with amazing views. You won’t regret staying here."

"The house and the room are spacious, clean and tidy. The hostess, Sophie, was super helpful and the housekeeper, Fernanda, keeps the place spotless and cooks a great breakfast. The house is old and elegant, it was like visiting somebody’s house which is how it should be. "

"Room is simple very basic. Two electrical outlets in the room. Plus an additional one in the bathroom. No cooling system, so the drapes need to be drawn to avoid overheating. Property is three stories without an elevator. Staff really accommodating in locating you on a lower floor on request. Staff was very personably and knew me by name. Bed is firm I found it to be reasonably comfortable. This was a second visit and the Capri is my first choice. A nice addition would be a mini fridge. Although I accept that three stars hotels rarely have that amenity. Towels are newer bath sheet size made from cotton. The shower has hot water great pressure. "

"Good wifi and hot water. VERY loud. In a bad part of town. Panhandlers and black market dealers 24 hours a day. Someone solicited me for s3x as I was wlaking to my room. "
