"The house is very nice and large with breathtaking views. Unfortunately there were numerous maintenance issues. The dishwasher flooded the kitchen and living area (twice) and maintenance didn’t feel it could be repaired and would just recommend it be replaced. After using all the beach towels to mop up the water, there was difficulty getting the washing machine to work. After much trial and error we were finally able to get power to the washing machine. "The home and local Rainbow Bay Beach area were great. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful beach and views. The downside was not much choice for food/grocery/restaurants nearby. Most restaurants in the vicinity were closed, closed on Mondays or closed at 5-6pm. Grocery stores were poorly stocked and expensive, and restaurants always ran out of menu items. "It is hard for words to describe the Villa, except it was so incredible. The Villa was first class (Villa 2), the location and privacy was delightful. The beach was beautiful, along with the pools. "Staff was very attentive. Property was striking. Our villa was kept very clean. Beach was beautiful and quiet with calm, warm water and extensive shallow sand bars. The chef prepared some very nice meals. There is one colorful local restaurant within walking distance. The location is pretty isolated. "NOT a resort. But, a wonderful location with beautiful views. Bring your own foodstuffs. Including salt and pepper…not going to find it here. WiFi was intermittent, power went off our first day here for three hours. Very close to Governor’s Harbour and GH airport."

"This is a gorgeous place. I think that Heaven will be very much like waking up to see those beautiful sparkling blue waves crashing into the white sand just outside our glass doors. I wish I could take that amazing view home with me! The power went out on the island several times but the Purple Papaya has a back up generator, so that was not a problem. The location is great. Good food right next door at Tippy’s(but slow service). Governor’s Harbour has shopping and restaurants too. We enjoyed several sunsets at the French Leave restaurant. Pascal’s restaurant is also a great choice! Over all this is an exceptional place to relax and unwind and spend a few days on “island time” I have been wanting to come here for 5 years and I’m so happy we finally made it. It was worth the wait!"
