"The grand high Barcelona is definitely an excellent hotel with excellent service. There are a few things I didn't like about it. There's not a lot of restaurant around the area. The ice machine was not working. I was charged €93 it's a good thing. I was checking my credit card when I asked them. They told me that it was a mistake and they will credit me back the amount. The lady manager was great very accommodating, but the male manager Christian wasn't very accommodating to us. Housekeeping also was an issue. I found that every day I was calling for tissue or towel that they forgot to replace but overall a very nice hotel. Would I stay there again definitely Yes!!"

"It's a very nice, old art deco hotel situated close (a couple of blocks) to La Rambla and Catalunya Plaza, the latter of which is a transportation hub, making it an excellent base for exploring Barcelona by foot and metro and for easily getting to and from the airport. They have a rooftop solarium, which we imagine was quite nice, but it was closed at 10 PM when we tended to return to our room, so we didn't see it."

"This property was a great home base to spend your days out and exploring Barcelona. Basic rooms, but clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast had a large selection of items, it was wonderful. The location, right on Las Ramblas was perfect, so many things within walking distance, and bus/metro stops a short walk away (as is the Starbucks). Plus, a great coffee shop and bakery next door! Ill be back!"

"L’emplacement est parfait, dans une des belles ruelles sécuritaires (jusqu’à tard le soir) du quartier gothique. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Chambre très propre, lit confortable et personnel accueillant. Options de restauration pour tous les budgets à proximité. À 3 min à pied de la Rambla et du Métro (facile et sécuritaire également) et 5 min de la plage. Je recommande fortement !"
