"We booked our stay to experience a traditional Ryokan and are so glad we did! From the moment we entered the building, the staff made us feel welcome, were incredibly attentive and the picture of Japanese service standards, which are so much higher than what we are used to in Europe! We were incredibly impressed with the meals in general, but particularly the dinner was outstanding. Our waiter made the experience extra special and we loved the pride with which he explained the dishes to us as well as the food presentation. Dinner is served in a private dining room opposite the rooms. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We would highly recommend to book this place if you’re up for a truly Japanese experience. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!"

"Excellent room Staff are helpful but cannot speak English. Comfortable place The only complaint was the food. It snowed on the night of arrival and the next day we decided to use the hotel dinning. There plenty of choices but the food are not as fres at other places and was quite expensive . We later found reasonably close by restaurant which are actually cheaper. "

"Beautiful hotel and rooms located is a beautiful area. Many other dining options available in the neighboring hotels, but the hotel restaurant itself is very good. The staff were courteous and efficient."
