"What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome."

"We had a lovely 2 night stay. Superb location, easy to find, there is an excellent pub 5 minutes walk away with great food. The room was clean with funky colours. A super comfortable bed and great en suit. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was awesome. We had a superb weekend on the Gower and left fully refreshed. We would highly recommend. "

"I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. "

This is a golf club that has a few (9?) rooms, which it offers. As such, it is not a hotel so there isn’t a bevy of staff on hand 24/7 like a real hotel might have. "We stayed in 'Edward' and it had 2 single beds pushed together, and that was about all that fitted in the room. It was not a double room, nowhere to open cases, no bedside table. Just not enough room for 2 people.We stayed Tuesday night and they did not serve meals on Tuesdays¡"

"No electricity from 10pm until the following morning .Dogs barking all night as it is adjoining a kennels. Contact no given doesn't get responded to. No breakfast provided due to cover but this wasn't pointed out when booking"

"Lovely room, delicious food and friendly staff. The property has an old charm and the room fresh and welcoming. The dinner was superb with a good selection of Welsh dishes. There is a very good selection for breakfast. This was our chosen place for our final night in Wales after completing the Beacons Way; and very happy with choice."
