"Cute retro hotel. I'm a local and often stay here when I need a beach break. Some rooms are a bit cramped, elevator sounds like it may crash at any moment, but the views are wonderful and the outdoor space is cute and fun. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean (except the floor - it wasn't visibly dirty but my feet were after walking around a bit). Not the place for luxury, but if you want an affordable hotel in a great location, I recommend the Surf and Sand! "

"Couples trip needing one night stay close to pensacola beach. This hotel was clean, quiet, comfy and very close to pensacola beach, close to restaurants and shopping. Guy who checked us in was very helpful and professional. Room was small but adequate for our stay and everything recently renovated. Will definitely stay here again"

"The checkin email said that digital checkin was an option then the app said our room wasn’t ready and that we would get a notification when it was ready. Then we eventually called the number at the front desk and the employee said digital checkin doesn’t work. The email should be updated. "

"This is an exceptional motel. It is clean, comfortable, employees are friendly, in a safe location, it has an area you can grill in,and washer and dryers, just to name a few of the pluses. We did not find any negatives."
