"Gianni and his wife were lovely hosts in this quiet respite of a location near Lago Maggiore. We had a short stay but hope to return soon. The apartment is spacious and very clean. You have everything you need but a car is suggested for getting groceries or visiting the nearby villages."

"The property is on the first floor, you get get a spacious master bedroom and a good sized children’s bedroom with one set of bunk beds. The Living area has a dining table for 4 ppl, a sofa (which could turn into a sofa bed) and a nice, big TV. At the other side of this living area is the open kitchen which contains everything one needs. The owner even had put some beverages into the fridge, coffee and other essentials were also provided and the home baked biscuits on arrival were a very nice...

"Corona is a charming village high in the mountains outside Lugano. We loved our stay in this spacious and comfortable house. It has a spectacular view of the mountains and Lake Lugano. The village has a charming church, shops, many ancient houses, a few hotels, and a large swimming pool open to the public. Nearby are hiking trails in all directions. It is perfect for a family vacation."

"The property and Rudolph, the host, were great. We stayed a month. Unfortunately, on a few late evenings, noisy holiday makers below us in adjacent house. Road noise was no problem. Great hiking area, convenient access to Postauto."

"Grundsätzlich gut. Einiges sollte in der Wohnung gemacht werden! Im 3. Zimmer neue Matrazen und 1 neuer Lattenrost. Die TV Anlage hat nicht funktioniert und müsste von einem Fachmann geprüft werden. Sonst sehr gut. Tolle Aussicht vom Balkon und sehr ruhig gelegen."

Die Umgebung ist sehr gepflegt und die Aussenausstattung lädt zum gemütlichen Verweilen draussen ein. Sehr netter, zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Es ist möglich vom Ferienhaus aus direkt die verschiedenen Wandermöglichkeiten zu erkunden. Wir verbringen gerne wieder einmal unsere Ferien in diesem Haus."

From the pictures and description posted on Expedia/VRBO we expected this property to be the highlight of our tour. Both were misleading. "Sehr schön gelegenes Haus in lebendigem, sympathischen Ort. Das Haus ist geräumig und gut aufgeteilt. Wir hatten beide Wohnungen für zwei Familien gemietet. Gemütlichkeit ist nicht die Stärke des Hauses, bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten (Sofa, Sessel, Liegestühle...) für alle Gäste gemeinsam gibt es weder drinnen noch draußen. Draußen gäbe es auf dem Grundstück leider auch keinen schönen Ort, wo man sie aufstellen könnte. Die Küchenausstattung ist äußerst dürftig, teils in schlechtem Zustand (blechiges...
