"Loved the hotel, welcomed by very personable and kind doormen who were so friendly and attentive throughout our whole stay. The room was lovely and very spacious! Pool was busy but still nice! The location was also great, which a short walk over the river into the centre of York and the hotel was a perfect get away from the busy streets after a day walking around. Only negatives would be the foyer and welcome - it was very busy and queues up to the door! There needed to be a more efficient system to show us the additional check in room next door! Also our room backed onto the delivery entry to the hotel so we were woken at 6:45am by lorries and loud noise! This being said we would definitely return and thanks for a lovely stay! "

"had the loveliest stay here! hotel is very central, didn’t have to walk very far. parking is half price at the trinity car park which is a short walk to the hotel. would highly recommend! "
