"We were so happy we stayed here. Although it was chilly on arrival the heatpump had been turned on to warm the place up before we arrived. The bach was exactly as listed. Everything we needed was there. It was warm with the fire and heatpumps. The beds were comfy. A short walk/bike ride to the lake. Was the perfect place for our mid winter escape. We will definitely be back!"

"We stayed at the Gladstone for a week whilst visiting family. Ideal location, spotlessly clean, rooms serviced daily. Has a really nice homely feel to the property, with all the comforts of home in the rooms. Would highly recommend, and will definitely stay again on our next trip."

"This place has all the relaxed charm of a 'typical' kiwi bach with the advantage of all the mod cons. You can relax and not worry about clashing with the decor or design asethetic! My shoulders moved away from my ears as we walked in the door.The front porch and the patio outside the double doors are great spots to just sit and sip coffee, wine or whatever. Great proximity to all you want in Mapua. Clean, comfortable and cute as a pin. We are not tall people however, and tall people might need to duck here and there."
