If you’re looking for a hostel, this is great, kitchen set up looked useful. If you’re looking more for a hotel, this is not really set up for you. "

"I have had the opportunity of staying at this Haka House a few times and the staff is always so kind and helpful. The cleanliness is almost impeccable. I must say I did not enjoy my stay in a mixed 8 people dorm as much as the female 4 or mixed 4 or even the 2 person dorm because of the unbelievable lack of respect of so many people concerning night time noise, odours, lack of hygiene, having the sound and notifications on their phones loud all evening and night long. You’d think it was common...

"Absolutely gorgeous area, clean rooms/bathrooms/showers and a large and well stocked kitchen. Taking a soak in the hot tub was really appreciated after a long day of hiking too! As other reviews have mentioned, the property is at the end of a long gravel road. I had a small/low clearance rental car and made it just fine by taking it slow. I only wish I had had time for another night in this beautiful area!"
