"Came to town for a competition. booked a hotel and left because it was disgusting. Booked at Holmes in and made my way there. Everything was perfect except the windows. They used blinds which made the morning come early and bright....too bright"

"Comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and shower. We enjoyed our stay at Buxton. Easy walking to all of the interesting restaurants and stores on the main street and to Dennison. You need to understand that this is a historic facility. If you are on the 2nd floor, no elevator. They could also make it easier to find an open plug for CPAP and recharging your phone. The included breakfast fell a little flat. Overall, however, I am very happy to recommend this inn. "

"Clean and cosy cabin with everything you need for a quiet weekend. Hot tub is great after a day hiking in Hocking Hills. Will be looking to return the next time my wife and I need a weekend getaway. If you come in the winter and there is snow or ice, 4wd is a must for the drive up the hill to the cabin. "

"Beautiful property! Rained most of the weekend which only made the experience more peaceful and serene. Beautiful pond on property that gives a nice secluded feeling even with being near many activities in the area! "

Very cozy place

"It was my first time staying in the area and this cabin was a great place to stay. It was a beautiful place, very clean, had everything we needed . The host was responsive and made check in and check out very easy. The location was great and it was close to places to eat, places to hike and various stores to shop for local things. I will definitely be returning to the area and would love to rent this location again. "

One night stay with the family

"One night stay with the family to do some hiking in the area. While the Exterior is a bit dated, the inside was nice and clean. I think this is credit to the staff for not letting an old building be an excuse for poor cleanliness. Kids enjoyed the pool and the hot breakfast was basic but good food. Well worth the price "
