This beautiful all-pine retreat features the feel of a miller's homestead. Included in this cabin is a full kitchen and bathroom, and a gas fireplace to cozy up in the living room! Step out onto the porch and soak in the hot tub, make your favorite meal in the charcoal grill, or just relax with a fire in your fire pit! Avenwood Cabins offers private cabin getaways in the beautiful Wayne National Forest. Our woodland escape ensures relaxation while providing modern amenities. Each cabin boasts state-of-the-art hot tubs with a view of the forest, queen-sized beds for guest comfort, air conditioning for those warmer months, WIFI and Roku-equipped televisions to keep you connected, and of course a pet-friendly environment for your fur babies!

Cabin was a perfect weekend getaway ✨️ It was very clean, cozy and quiet. Only flaw was the hot tub could have used more maintenance. But other than that it was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect little getaway spot
The cabin was perfect for a New Year’s Eve getaway. The fireplace inside was wonderful to have and proximity to plenty of hiking in the area was great for our trip. They even left us champagne to celebrate the new year which was a very thoughtful touch. Would recommend!

Nice weekend getaway

So close to perfect
The property was secluded and very private. I was able to come and go with no issues and found the property with ease. I would say the property is an 7/10, with a few updates like better dishes and the hot tub revamped it would be a 10/10. I will check on updates before booking again but my stay was very enjoyable!

Peaceful Getaway
Secluded feel down a winding back road. The cabin was perfect for us, cozy and had a warm atmosphere. The hot tub was a must after adventuring throughout the parks. It was clean, looked newer inside, and the only thing we needed to bring was coffee for the coffee maker. We didnt want to leave and will absolutely stay here again :)

Miller’s Den
This cabin was the perfect spot for our honeymoon. It was cozy, clean, and quiet. Just what we wanted. Only down fall was the bedroom does not have a fan so if you are a hot sleeper I suggest bringing your own. Also the shower is VERY tiny. But neither of these were a major issue. Overall very good place to stay!

Wonderful Stay
My girlfriend and I had a lovely time in the Millers Den to celebrate our anniversary! It was just cozy enough for the two of us and everything was well maintained and CLEAN. The cellular is spotty, but the wi-fi was great. I was a little nervous driving to the location given how narrow the road appeared. I imagine two wide vehicles would cause a problem in the hills, but thankfully we never had an issue ourselves. We laughed when we saw the Vrbo pictures cause they seemed more "artsy" than what one would normally expect. But the Millers Den indeed was a sweet and lovely cabin nestled exactly where we hoped - private, great view, and close enough to Logan.

Cozy Little Cabin
My Husband and I stayed 2 nights in the cabin. Our GPS took us straight there. The cabin was clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. If your planning on cooking, and season your food, then bring some with you. We just grabbed some in town, so it was no problem. Hot tub was relaxing. Just know there is no dresser in the bedroom, only a Sterilite 3 drawer tower, incase you and your party travel with a lot of clothes. The shower is small, but water pressure and temperature was great. Definitely will use this Host again.

No one mentions the junk yard on the drive in…
Overall we had a good time but NO ONE mentions the giant junk yard full of cars and garbage on the drive in! Giving very much Wrong Turn vibes if you will. The outside fire pit area is nice but the land is sloped and It was awkward sitting on. The couch is very small and the hot tub smelled moldy. Besides those things it was a decent stay.

We arrived early and I was nervous that we would've had to wait about an hour to check in. The lady I spoke with (Pam?) was so understanding and gave us the code to the cabin anyway. Thank you for that! The cabin itself was adorable, clean and had everything we needed. There was a review stating about the drive into the cabins being a car junkyard, creepy haven from the movie Wrong Turn. That was true. However, that didn't take away from the cabin and the area of the cabins itself. It's nestled away but close to stores if you need to go and get stuff. The cabin smelled wonderful and was clean. They took care of it and they maintain it. The linens were clean. The bed was very firm. Water pressure was great. The hot tub did have a slight mildew smell to it but only by the display/setting pad. To me, not that big of a deal. Not like I wanted to drink the water in it. I read a lot of reviews before booking and honestly, if you're looking for a 5 star hotel, then go for a hotel. I feel like the other reviews who said it was horrible were looking for bougie treatment. This is a nice, cute cabin that allows pets of all sizes. For the price, I cannot complain. We were so happy and will definitely go back in the future!
