"Enjoyed our stay and location of Hotel. Staff really lovely.Upgraded to Executive room, but didnt feel it was wirth the extra £60. Lovely toiletries, but not enough for 2 adults for 2 days. Same with coffee.. Ordered steak (medium)however in my opinion it was rare. I choked on the steak and had to leave it. I didnt return it, but when manager took my plate away he failed to ask if it had been ok. Lump of steak on my plate was left at the side wrapped in tissue. Felt he could have asked, as...

"Rooms adequate, very clean. Tea and coffee provided. Plenty of hot water. Slept very well despite harder mattress than used to.breakfast was very good, good choices but had to wait for certain cooked elements. Evening meal was tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"This hotel is in a great location and attached to the central train station in Glasgow. We stayed there for one night at the end of our trip to Edinburgh as we had an early flight the following day. Very simple and economical to take the train from Edinburgh. The taxi drive to the airport from the hotel was 35 pounds. Staff was very helpful and courteous, the linens and room were very clean. Only downside was that our view was of a brick wall and the roof of the train station."

"Beautiful location--pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. Be prepared for the stairs, but it is so worth it! Peaceful, beautiful surroundings. First class interior. Cant recommend it enough!"

"The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly and accomodating. We stay in hotels often and this was the best, staff wise. Good size room and excellent location for getting around the city. Free tea, coffee and water available and they lent us good quality brollies when it rained. Would recommend."

"Nice decent hotel. Check in was a breeze. Room was really cozy. Breakfast was really nice, with a pretty decent variety. Oh and I asked if I could check out an hour later and it was granted. Thank you for being great hosts."

"Loved staying here. The convenience of having a kitchen was wonderful and cost effective. Quiet building with double security with 24/7 monitored front desk and key card elevator access. As a single traveler, I felt safe. Convenient location located next to the subway. Great variety of restaurants and pubs (the Hootenanny is across the street but I never heard them). Only knock is the beds. Mattress was very hard. Everything else was perfect ! Will stay here again. "
