"Our stay at the Wallace Lodge was seemless from booking to checking out. Wallace communicated with us immediately after booking and advised us of all pertinent information needed for the stay. We took a drive from London to the Wallace Lodge and he waited till our arrival at 2130 to personally greet us and show us around. Everything is as described within the listing. "Commodious comfortable old manse with ample room for three generations aged from 6 to 74 with differing interests and activities.Lots of enclosed garden area for kids and dogs to enjoy without concern of them escaping."

"The lodge is in a beautiful area, secluded with just deer for neighbours. Claire and Aleck were great hosts, very friendly. The lodge was stunning. Each room was well decorated and cosy. Very comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. The log burning fires in the each lounge were just perfect at night. The outdoor bbq and pizza oven were a great addition along with the hot tub. We all loved staying here for a long weekend. I would happily stay at Muir Estate again. "
