"Impromptu stay (good weather) so booked at night at the Woodside. On arrival a nice wee bonus to be upgraded. Our room and the other facilities were spotlessly clean, the bed comfy and the shower great. The bar and restaurant both for drinks, dinner and breakfast had excellent choice and beautifully cooked….but what made the Woodside special was the staff….the service was excellent and friendly. Great stay, we’ll be back….with friends in tow."

"Stayed here while hiking the Westhighland Way. Paid way too much for the hotel room but the location and quality can’t be beat. The rooms were small but very clean and very comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was amazing - delicious fuel for a full day of hiking."

"We had a great overnight stay at the crown. We parked in the main Callander carpark for £4.50 for 24 hours which was really close to Crown.Crown on Main Street so easy to walk to anywhere in Callander from there On arrival everyone was friendly . Room spotless and cool.Nice view of hills . Able to book at table for the band which was right near bar which was great .Bar staff really friendly and helpful and the band was great . Really nice friendly atmosphere and handy to just walk upstairs to bed . Continental breakfast nice . Have booked to go back at New year Lovely stay would defo recommend "
