"We were there for the view, and oh what a view from our window, pyramids and the Sphinx! At checkin we were welcomed as family and treated as such with every question we had. "I never write reviews, but I had to write for this one. Hands down best experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. The staff is awesome, the decorating is on pointttt, and the owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They have a roof top restaurant with a view on the pyramids the restaurant setting is easily a 5 star setup, and id rate the food a solid 10/10 too! Def coming back here"

"Highly recommended! Sun and Sand Hotel is comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The amenities are simple but nice and clean. The staff made good suggestions for tourist attractions. "This property is right by the Pyramids Area Official Entrance. Its a discounted property and for the dollar value it is good. On the top deck the pyramid view is great, and this is also where the breakfast is served, plus another higher platform view level. Its not a great area, but its safe and close to other dining options. The proprietor and his family are the nicest people you could meet. "

"This inn is a hidden gem. I sat out every morning and ate breakfast with the Great Pyramid, Khufu, and the son’s pyramid, Khafre, in plain view, no obstructions. Anytime I wanted, there was the view of these two pyramids - except at night when it’s dark. The staff is warm and hospitable. I will return to Cairo and look forward to returning to this Inn too. "The hosts were amazing and friendly. Language was a bit of a barrier but the staff had good grasp of English to have engaging conversations. They were also very accomodating to our needs as well. The rooftop view of the Pyramids is one of the highlights. And the Pyramids are a walking distance too from the lodge if you are into that kind of thing. Otherwise you can get one of the horse drawn carriages Pharaoh style to get there. All in all, solid 5 stars"
