"My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our Sri Lanka trip. The rooms were very big and clean, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The staff were great, and organised a safari trip for us, and a very early excursion to Lions Rock. "The staff were excellent and extraordinary welcoming. We are an elderly couple and the staff took care of us like we were their own children. "This is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. The rooms are excellent, the food wonderful, the staff incredibly accommodating and the natural habitat in which the Other Corner is situated forms perfect backdrop gor wildlife including a birds. The resident wildlife and naturalist Dhilip is a fount of knowledge and made the stay even better. The organic garden and lake are also a bonus. "Although this is an excellent review I have to say I was a bit surprised at the size of the pools. I like to swim laps but the pools were smaller than I'd thought. My fault, of course (lack of blueprints!). One pool seems to have been given over to the monkeys (lucky them!) which was interesting. But perhaps it was seasonal? Anyway, if you're expecting to swim laps lower those expectations and just enjoy the spectacular view from the infinity perspective of the pool...."
