The only disappointment we had was we didnt know in advance that the pool would shut early and open late the next day so we wouldnt get to use it very much. Unfortunately the hotel had a big black tie dinner on the night I stayed and therefore the kitchen closed earlier than I could get there so was unable to order food. "I love the refurbishment and particularly like seeing the black and white photo of Rod and Elton in the bath. Superb welcome by Owen on Reception when I checked in. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely chat with the lady serving breakfast. I asked if I could take the Hungarian chef home with me!! An extremely memorable breakfast. As Arni would say "I'll be back" Thank you to all the wonderful staff at The Dormy House West Runton Norfolk. The bed was huge and cosy - don't make me go!!"

"Pub is lovely, great atmosphere, outdoor winter seating was cosy and a real selling point. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated. It could have done with a more powerful shower. Slightly disappointed as didn't realise we would be staying away from the pub. We were waiting just over an hour to check in because our room wasn't ready. Booked in for breakfast for half 9, unfortunately by the time we had had our cooked breakfast we went to get pastries...
