"We loved the location. The staff was really nice and helpful. We used the bikes and it was great to discover more of the area. People were very nice everywhere. We had our laundry done which we needed so much and they followed instruction (what goes or not in the dryer etc). I do recommend!"

"The reason I chose this hotel was because of the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed, in fact during my stay in Vietnam for 4 weeks this was the best hotel. Lily the owner, so cheerful and warm hearted went well over the top in looking after me.I did a lot of walking and cycling and she made sure I had a hefty breakfast each morning. She didnt charge me for my laundry. Lily deserves 11 out of 10. The hotel is spotless and comfortable and also I must include all the staff too, what lovely and happy people, a sign of a good working environment. Please do yourself a big favour and book yourselves here, you won't do better. Thankyou Lily from the bottom of my heart."

"We spent two nights at the Fairy Mountain Retreat, it is such a nice place. The moment you enter they welcome you with a smile. It is so peaceful here, the location is perfect, all the sites are accessible via bicycles or scooters. Thuy and Hai are awesome. Thank you for your hospitality!!!"

"Wonderful property. Beautiful grounds. Beautiful room. Fabulous staff. A bit isolated, however. You’ll need to drive, or be driven, about 15 minutes into town if you want to walk around for shopping, food or drinks. Just head toward the Bich Dong Pagoda and you’ll find the town. "

"Staff at this hotel are very nice and welcoming. Location is also perfect for exploring. Close to Tam Coc and surrounding attractions. Grounds of the hotel are beautiful and rooms are clean and very comfortable. Definitely felt like a luxury staying here and it’s very reasonably priced for the standard of hotel. So enjoyable we decided to extend our stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Little Tam Coc. Don’t judge this place by the room rate. We felt it was worth more than what we paid. We were treated like family. The rooms were spacious and the bedding was clean and warm. Check in was quick and easy. We were asked what we wanted to eat for breakfast, Vietnamese or Western breakfast. We chose Vietnamese and they were made and served fresh. They were delicious!! They offer bicycles and motorbikes to drive into and around town. The property is located 5 minutes walk from the touristy food and market scene. Far enough to get some peace if you need it but close enough to where all the action is. It is a family run business run by the SWEETEST people. I’ve read some critiques about the old-fashion locks on the doors of the rooms, but personally we felt that they added charm to the place. It may be challenging for some to accept but it reflects the culture and safety of the area. We were a family of 5 and had been to Tam Coc a few years previous. We did not stay here but wished we did. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area of Ninh Binh. We will definitely return to Little Tam Coc when we have a chance."

"Beautiful property, literally in the heart of Tam Coc! The room and bed were so quiet and comfortable. Pool and outdoor area is gorgeous and so nice at the end of a long day exploring. The breakfast had so many delicious options. Renting their bikes was a highlight for us. Staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel was well worth the extra money (compared to others in the area), it really made our stay in Ninh Binh amazing!"
