"A very private oasis right in the heart of the old town. Our room was out the back through a garden offering a beautiful private area to relax outside on a nice day. The inside had three levels the entrance and table, step down into the bedroom and bathroom or up the stairs into the lounge and large hot tub. The bed was excellent and comfortable and the split system air conditioner kept the place nice and comfortable. You walk out through the garden and the main building and you are literally right in the middle of all the action as far as sights, shopping and food are concerned. "

"Everything was wonderful. Great staff from reception, bar and restaurant. Great breakfast and nice dining. Wonderful area in the center of it all. I even got cleaning service every day which doesn’t happen most places anymore. My only complaint is the beds seem really hard. I prefer a firmer bed, but their beds are extremely firm. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience "

"The hotel is right on the corner of the square in Ghent, it was not too noisy though. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast and bar areas were clean and well stocked. It is very easy to find your way around the city and the tram services are excellent. Have a look around the castle, a good two or three hours to cover it. Many churches too. We are not religious, but the architecture is something to behold. A trip to Patrick Foley's Irish Bar is also worth it."
