"Overall nice hotel. Rooms are very good. The only downside was that their messaging via the Hotels.com website was poor. I messaged them prior to our stay with a request that was not acknowledged. They contacted me via Hotels.com with an unrelated message, which I responded to immediately. But again there was no response. "

"The hotel's greatest plus is it's location, right next to the cathedral. We were a group of 8, in 4 twin rooms and it served our needs perfectly. We opted for breakfast in the second morning which was value for money, with some hot options as well as cold."

"It was aiming to be a boutique B&B but failed, dangerous stairs to access, bare light bulbs some not working, no air conditioning, not clean or updated.. in general disappointing and not as portrayed on the website"

"I'm sure this access arrangement is illegal, two very steep wooden step ladders up two floors, plus one very steep metal staircase up the final floor. One tiny fire extinguisher. Rickety boards in-between. A disaster waiting to happen. We planned our fire escape across the roofs of Ghent through a window. We didn't sleep well and no-one would be impressed arriving here. Even if legal in Ghent, it should not be let to UK residents."
