"Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal spa pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

"Dragodena is a pastoral paradise! My children foraged ripe cherries and wildflowers from the surrounding hillsides. The house was gorgeous, peaceful, with an ancient elegance, and with beautiful layers of its former lives left open to the discoverer. A truly magical experience."

"This place is amazing. Second time back here and just as good as the first time around - no better place in the Bologna area for a relax - and the bioorganic pond is a dream. The wine is also divine and well priced. The only thing they could improve on is ensuring there is always a table at the restaurant for any guests as if the guests don’t actively book a table, then it’s unlikely you’ll get a table on walking in at this popular spot - very busy!"

"Good accommodation right on the hiking trail "Via Degli Dei" - Friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Good beds with nice cotton sheets and hot water in the shower. Dinner and breakfast were ok, but a bit too expensive for what it was. The same with the packed lunches, which we bought extra."

"Wij hebben een schitterende vakantie gehad in dit appartement. Het is perfect uitgerust met een goede keuken, nette badkamer en goede bedden. Daarnaast is het landgoed erg mooi met een zwembad, grote ligweide en dieren. De omgeving is schitterend en mooi gelegen in de bergen op 15 minuten van de snelweg. "It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "
