"Life on a horse farm, with beautiful Icelandic show horses, was terrific. Fully appointed kitchen and outdoor grill meant we could cook up a storm and grill some tender lamb for dinner. The owners were welcoming and the horses were gentle and beautiful. Location was perfect for the Gerduberg basalt cliffs and the gorgeous coastal hike from Arnastapi to Hellnar on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. Four adults were comfortable sharing the cottage."

"We had a wonderful stay here. We enjoyed the full kitchen and the hot tub. Our only complaint was the directions were not clear and we ended up at the neighbour's house. We found the rental afterwards, but had no code for the property in advance. The directions said to go to the main house for the code. We had no idea where the main house was, we couldn't see any other homes. One of us ran to 3 people on horseback riding by, who conveniently had the code. We would just suggest sending the code...

"This house is very clean, warm, inviting and modern. It has a great kitchen, comfortable rooms and beautiful views from the hot tub. It allows for a great relaxing time with family after driving the ring road. The weather was beautiful AND we saw the northern lights which was the highlight of our trip. Great hosts who communicated well. We highly recommend this property."

"The house delivered everything we hoped it would for our family trip incl. Kids and 80years old seniors. Convenience to store while being far enogh away from others allowed us to observe an unforgettable show of the aurora. "Svanhildur was an awesome host, always available to any queries and help. The house was clean and beautiful. The kitchen had all the utensils needed and was also well stocked - which was important for us as we did a lot of cooking for a family of 10 people of all ages. "

"We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"
