"We had a wonderful two week family holiday at this lovely property. The owners made it very special, really kind and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Rosa bringing homemade bread and jam twice during our stay and also baking a delicious cake. The pool is wonderful and we had lots of fun in the games room playing pool and foosball. "Magnifique maison en pierres et en bois avec une superbe terrasse avec vue sur le parc !! La maison est tres bien équipée , à la campagne alors si vous voulez cuisiner et profiter de la vue, noubliez pas de faire des courses avant ! "Location perfect. Premium room with balcony - room spacious and beds comfortable.Very quiet. Balcony a lovely retreat after a busy day to chill in sun with city views. Staff very helpful- Pedro paricularly ( recommended good restaurant and successfully printed off bus tickets for us) Good breakfast. It would be nice if cafe had more selection of alcoholic drinks and was open later than 7 - a minor point as there are bars nearby and a pingo doce supermarket 5 mins walk away. We had brunch in adjoining cafe twice which had a good range and well priced. It would be useful if hotel staff could advise about where booked taxis could pick up as it is on a pedestrian street. Our Airpot transfer taxi did not turn up - fortunately the taxi rank is 5 mins walk away but we then paid almost double. Altogether a lovely stay in a good hotel. "
