"The views from this place of the mountains were spectacular. Very quiet and peaceful. The above ground pool was welcome in the heat wave. Large fridge was handy. Lots of fruit trees in the yard and no mosquitoes in August! The neighbourhood is very traditional, including very narrow roads with stone walls on the way in. "La casa es preciosa y muy cómoda y la zona es espectacular y muy bien ubicada. El único pero, que para nosotros no ha sido pequeño, son las campanadas de la iglesia del pueblo, que está enfrente y que empiezan a sonar a partir de las 07 am cada media hora haciendo muy difícil poder dormir a partir de esa hora."

"Aurelie was fantastic to deal with and really helpful with any queries and booking taxis for us etc. the house was absolutely stunning and the grounds were amazing with so many lemon, lime, fig, olive trees etc. So quiet - we were in our own Oasis! Will definitely be returning when we aren’t having to rush back & forth to Dance World Cup!"

"Nos hemos alojado toda la familia (11) y la casa disponía tanto de camas para dormir como de zonas comunes para compartir. Destacando una gran cocina y una mesa grande donde podíamos preparar lo comida y sentarnos a comer cómodamente. En nuestro caso nos dedicamos a a viajar a diferentes ciudades importantes de Portugal, pero también conocimos un poco la zona y cuenta con unos paisajes muy bonitos y piscinas naturales perfectas para disfrutar en verano. "Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch am Rande von Campo do Gerês in einem sehr schönen Wandergebiet. Es hat große luftige Schlafzimmer. Da es ein altes traditionelles Steinhaus ist, strahlt es viel Charme aus, ist im Erdgeschoss allerdings auch ein wenig dunkel und feucht. Man teilt sich den Außenbereich mit einem Haus diekt daneben. Eine Veranda mit Gartenmöbeln gibt es leider nicht. Die schriftliche Kommunikation mit Maria war sehr angenehm und herzlich."

"Location perfect. Premium room with balcony - room spacious and beds comfortable.Very quiet. Balcony a lovely retreat after a busy day to chill in sun with city views. Staff very helpful- Pedro paricularly ( recommended good restaurant and successfully printed off bus tickets for us) Good breakfast. It would be nice if cafe had more selection of alcoholic drinks and was open later than 7 - a minor point as there are bars nearby and a pingo doce supermarket 5 mins walk away. We had brunch in adjoining cafe twice which had a good range and well priced. It would be useful if hotel staff could advise about where booked taxis could pick up as it is on a pedestrian street. Our Airpot transfer taxi did not turn up - fortunately the taxi rank is 5 mins walk away but we then paid almost double. Altogether a lovely stay in a good hotel. "
