"The Briars is in a lovely location in the Jackson Point area of Georgina, ON. It is a historic property on lovely grounds. As an EV driver, I was glad that they have chargers. Staff were friendly and efficient. My room was very comfortable and clean. I would say that the property is dowdy and could use some updating. The bathrooms were functional, but could use updated fixtures. That said, I would stay again."

"Our first impression of the property wasn’t great. The first room we were given was very dated and the bathroom was dirty. There was also a gap under the door which bugs very easily could have gotten in. But the staff were great in switching our room to an interior one and it was lovely! If you’re staying here I would suggest requesting a room inside the hotel. The pool was great unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working. And the breakfast was very good! "
