The villa was ideal for our group and we had a wonderful pizza night with Alessio's mother, Catia! "This beautiful Tuscan estate exceeded expectations for our wine and culinary vacation! The view is spectacular. Our host, Tommaso, was extremely friendly and a gracious host. We brought in a chef for a Tuscan cooking class and the kitchen was well appointed. Parking the car was easy. Very modern bathrooms. Two wonderful rooms for group gathering areas inside. Highly recommend this property!"

"This property is beautiful inside and out. If I remember correctly, there’s 20-25 people currently living in Barbischio. It’s peaceful with fantastic views to the west over Gaiole. Gailoe is less than 10 minutes away with access to grocery, meat market, several restaurants and gelato! The location is perfect with access to the train in Montivarchi in 25-30 minutes. Radda, Volpaia, Greve,,Siena, San Gimignano…all close. We will stay here again. "

"Stayed here for 14 days. Generous space with lots of room for multiple guests. We didn't realize the villa was two separate units. This was unexpected as we thought there would be a central indoor staircase. We made it work but we did feel separate from each other. Eduardo brought us lovely treats from a local bakery a couple of times which was very kind. You definitely need a vehicle to stay here. While it says there are a few things in walking distance we felt the car was necessary....

"Santa & Giovanni were wonderful! Anything we needed help with they were always available. Even gave us a ride to the train station! Fresh fruit & vegetables were plentiful! The air conditioners worked very well. It was very hot while we were there for 5 1/2 weeks. The pool was very refreshing. They even cooked for us along with their son & daughters help. We would definitely recommend you staying at this lovely home. It was very private, but the town was only 5 minutes away. "

"Such a beautiful and authentic villa. A setting no less than perfect for a proper stay in the Italian country side. Just a 10-minute walk from Stia and yet fully private. Lucia was the perfect host - always willing and able to help with any questions we had. We've been spending holidays in Italy for near on 20 years, always agri turismo and this place is up there among the very best. Five-star ratings from me are few and far between, but Lucia and her place definitely earns all five stars."

"On a scale of 1-10 this was 11. Our host added so much to our having a wonderful four weeks. The house, pool and grounds are GREAT, but it was the personal interactions that made the experience extra-special. There were meals prepared for us on a few occasions two wonderful BBQ ‘sand a really fun and delicious cooking class held at the outdoor kitchen. When my wife was I’ll, Giovanna found us a doctor.
