"The room I was in looked recently decorated certainly not in need of a makeover like last year. However what makes this such a great place to stay is definitely the staff. They are friendly and efficient, the restaurant staff especially appeared to enjoy their work and happily engaged in banter with the diners alongside doing their job well"

"The hotel was clean and comfortable, it had a lovely little pub down stairs. One thing I wish they would change would be the no food in the room policy. But understand why places do this to avoid excess mess. Overall great place to rest your head"
