"Perfect property for 9 adults and 1 dog! Very clean and well stocked kitchen which was large, with an even larger lounge with log burner. More than enough space for us all to get cosy, play games and see the new year in.Location is beautiful but to note, 20-25 mins from the nearest shop. The pier cafe is great for a drink, coffee or food though, and the drive is worth it for the surrounding views of Loch Katrine. "This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!"

"We enjoyed this Scottish “steading”. It was a charming farmhouse attached with other houses. The neighbors were friendly and helpful when we first got there. The house was plenty big enough for the 9 of us. The only downfall was the very slow Internet. But that wasn’t the fault of the owner. The house was about a mile outside of town which made it a very quiet stay. "

"Lovely house and gardens, plenty of room for a family get together. It was nice that each bedroom had access to an ensuite or bathroom. The pool table was a great addition and kept both big kids and little kids entertained. We had snow while we were there and having the log burner and extra radiators to hand was great for keeping warm. Communication with host was great."

"The VRBO was ok, not great. Biggest problem was no dryer, even though site description indicated washer and dryer. We would not have booked had we known there was no dryer as we pack light in anticipation of having washer AND dryer. We also had issue with wifi, had difficulty getting response from host to get it fixed. If being able to do laundry is not important to you, then site would likely work for you. "

"Apartment was central to our needs. modern and clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Only drawback was it was slightly noisy at the back of the hotel where our room was. Lots of air con machines, heat/waste pumps and bin emptyting throughout the night. This wouldn't put me off staying at the Fraser Apartments again."
