"Comfortable room, but the hotel could really do with refurbishment. The carpets on the stairs and upstairs corridors are threadbare. Couldn't fault the friendly service though!"

"We liked our stay both times ,the reception lady is very helpful and pleasant. The room very clean and comfortable . Tea and coffee sachets etc refilled daily ,and the place smelt fresh and clean . My only slight down comment is the rooms are looking a bit tired in places . Otherwise an excellent place to stop for a couple of nights while visiting friends up north . The restaurant serves excellent breakfasts at reasonable prices ,and we will be happy to stay again in the future."

Holiday Inn Express Manchester Airport by IHG

"Seems like the property was billed as having an airport shuttle, but it did not. The taxi that took me 1 mile to my hotel cost 20 pounds (something I hadn't factored into my budget). Then to get back to the airport was another 14 pounds. I think next time I will be staying at the IBIS, which is right across the street from the terminal. "
