"This is a beautiful hotel in a great location– directly above a subway station on the Airport line. With that said, I'll mention I wasn't happy with my check-in experience. Everyone was friendly during my stay, but moments after I brought my things to the room the phone rang. It was the woman at the front desk who checked me in telling me the credit card I presented for payment had been declined. What?!!!! I'd been using that high-limited Visa card during a month of travel in Japan, South Korea and Vietnam without any problems. I was obviously concerned I'd become the victim of fraud and immediately went back downstairs to offer a different card. It was rather humiliating. The desk clerk couldn't explain why my card had been rejected, but she gave me a two-digit code that accompanied the rejection that I could use to contact my bank. Bottom line: The code meant the clerk had entered an incorrect CVV number from the back of my Visa. Her simple error had caused me considerable discomfort. I didn't see her again during my stay so I'm putting this in the review hoping the hotel management will ask the front desk staff to be more careful!"

"Amazing! The view of the corner suite is amazing, however it does get warm from the Summer's afternoon sun. Perfect location to explore local Fukuoka with the late night eats just below. Well designed with very quiet and private rooms."
