"This was a great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. It was easy to contact the site and they were very responsive even though there is no on-site management. Be warned - the stairs are steep to the second and third floor rooms. "

However, there was a sewer-like smell that occasionally seeped into the room, prompting me to keep the windows open. This would be problematic during the hot summer or cold winter days. Overall, I liked this place and would consider staying again if I could be assured of more towels and a room without any...

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. This isn't a traditional hotel, more like a boutique hotel taking up one section of a floor in a shared building. You will be given two access codes, one for the main door and one for the floor. Special note for fellow Americans, what the Europeans refer to as floor 1 is what we'd call floor 2. We were super confused trying to find the right door before we realized we were on the wrong floor. Good: It was clean, it had the necessities, and the location is excellent....

"We really enjoyed our stay at Feliz in Roma. Check in was simple and quick, owners were communicative and the room was comfy and a good size. Location is excellent, walking distance from the colleseum and forum and has easy transport links to termini, Vatican city and Trastevere if you do not want to walk further. Also plenty of restaurants on the street/nearby. Breakfast could be improved as it was dried breads and packaged cakes. I understand it is difficult without a staff member present to...
