"Such a cute little Villa just outside of Pistoia. Stayed there all week. Kitchen was great with most items supplied. Bed was extremely hard which made it difficult to sleep. Couch in living rm was very old and hard to sit on. The owners are the BEST and try to make your stay most pleasing. Nice pool and views. Very convenient to Pistoia and Florence. Would use again, but can only hope they upgrade bed and couch. Would rate as a GOOD plus."

"I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Castellare for two weeks with some friends and my parents. This was a trip that had to be postponed two years(!!) due to the pandemic, so it had some pretty high expectations to live up to, and it met them all. The property was so beautiful and worked very well do our group, allowing us to get privacy when needed, and come together as a group when we wanted to. We were able to easily get into Florence when we wanted, and we’re able to take day trips...

"A beautiful and picturesque property! Alvaro and Viviene are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We came over for the MogoGP and the Mugello circuit is 30 minutes drive away (longer on the Sunday due to much more traffic) and coming back to the peace and tranquility after a hectic day at the track I was bliss.Florence is also only a 20 minute drive away. A car is a must due to the location but worth it for the spectacular views :) Leanne & Andy "

"First off, the host, Barbara, is so nice and accommodating. She really cares about your stay and treats you well with her warm hospitality. The setting is so very peaceful after a bustling day in Florence. Just sit back and relax on the patio and take in the beautiful scenery all around you.
