"Exceeded my expectations. I knew that breakfast would be provided each morning. But I didn't know that Jeff is a restaurant chef and his wife Linda is a CIA trained pastry chef. Jeff and Linda were so friendly and accommodating. I felt almost as if I were staying with family. After breakfast I took my 2nd cup of coffee outside to the garden where I read for awhile. "From the moment we entered the property the relaxation began!! The location and history of the area was interesting. The rooms were comfortable and homey. The screened porch was the central space and the reading knook was never empty. All enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in the calm river water.
