"The location was great, walking distance to everything. The property is clean but little bit old, and we had an incident with one of the rooms that we booked plus the terrible communication between us and the staff that made us really unhappy. Also the bed is too small."

"This is student housing. We brought our own pillows from home, which I would recommend. The beds are small, but was fine for us because we were prepared for the size/situation based on other reviews. Bathroom is tiny. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless you pay extra. If you have accurate expectations you will enjoy your stay here- the staff was REALLY FRIENDLY and accommodating-- the actual room was as expected, because we were expecting a dorm room! :) "

"Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer."

"Wonderful location right off the Royal Mile. Our apartment was modern, clean, comfortable and quiet, even though we were in a busy area and there was construction going on towards the back of the building. More than enough space for our family to stretch out and relax after long days of touring the city! Linens provided were ample and clean, bath products were available in the bathrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. We would absolutely book again!"

"The linton collection was an excellent apartment block in a very good location just off the royal mile. There was a great speak easy type cocktail bar next door called the three blind mice and it was easy to walk to most actractions from the apartment. I would highly recomend the apartment as it had an excellent bathroom with a brilliant shower and free molton brown products to use. Great heating for winter stays and a fan provided if needed. "Perfect location very close to train station. There was a big storm, and they kindly let us check in early before it arrived at no cost. That was really remarkable. Very modern and updated appliances even a washer & dryer in one. Definitely recommend!"

"We were reloacated to hilton as our accommodation was not available. The staff were very helpful and kind after all our inconvenience we had been through ! Savia we so helpful full of live enthusiastic and kind. Her service was perfect..."

"Big and spacious. Lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. Walkable to train station and major places of interest. One major downside is the security. When we are out, there were 2 occurences of entry. One left the living room lights on and the other cleared our trash. Chatted online with destiny and they said no unauthorised entries in their records. If there is any form of housekeeping, please let the guests know so the guests feel safer."

"Cosy 2-bedroom apartment. Clean and well equipped with kitchenette, washer and dryer. Good for family stay. About 8 mins walk to St James Quarter where the parking is. Entry to the apartment building is in a back alley. While it’s well lit, the occasional noise from the garbage bins can be disturbing in the night. Overall, still good."

"Amazing property - we stayed at the One Bed apartment with bed alcove - the property was very stylish and modern and tasteful decor, very spacious apartment with high end spec. Lobby, bar and restaurant areas were beautiful. High quality service from the staff from the front of the house, restaurant and bar. Location is superb and right in the centre of the old town so easily walkable to all main attractions so would definitely recommend this hotel."

Lovely experience at Point A Hotels.

"Very lovely, modern and new hotel. Everything was very clean and well taken care of, from the lobby, to the lifts, to the rooms themselves. The rooms were a little on the small side but we were fine with it. The location was perfect too, and everything is within walking distance. Other than to get to and from the airport, we didn’t need to take public transport at all. "

"I cannot fault this property at all. We went as a family of four. From check in to check out, everything was flawless. Our family room with a view over the castle was very clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom. We had drinks and dinner at the restaurant one evening and Martin was very attentive. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Edinburgh. "

"Great stay for visit to the Playhouse. Walking distance from Waverly station, to St James Quarter and Playhouse. Best location for what we we had planned. Floor 0 takes you to Waverly station avoiding all the traffic lights and longer walk to station. Staff lovely, rooms beautiful. "

"Excellent value for location and amenities. About a 10 min walk from Waverley and key sites, nestled between Castle and university yet still quiet at night (I would enthusiastically recommend for families visiting the university). Room was large and had both a bath and a separate shower, as well as a fridge and kettle. Decor was fresh, good quality bedding. Pool and sauna are at larger sister hotel, but gaining access was straightforward. Reception and housekeeping staff at both hotels were absolutely lovely."
