"The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hosts were very helpful and very accommodating. They provide dinner on request and the food was superb. Breakfast also excellent. "La Maison Vieille is conveniently located within walking distance of the old walled city and has plenty of parking nearby. The property has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, with attention to detail, and the owner and her staff are friendly and helpful. We'd particularly like to commend Neria for being so kind and helpful. It was also lovely to be able to enjoy home-made breakfast food around a big table with other guests. A lovely place to stay! Would certainly recommend"

"We stayed here for four nights to explore Carcassonne and environment. Montolieu is a charming artsy village with lovely bookshops and little streets. The place we rented was the first floor of the house with the owners living downstairs. They were extremely friendly people and really going the extra mile to make your stay most comfortable. The amenities in and outside of the house are plentiful: bowling alley, pool ( not heated though), outside kitchen .... certainly recommend this place to...
