From the moment I had contact with Sue (requesting another night stay) to dinner reservations and afternoon tea when we arrived, she was constantly engaged with us and making our stay at her beautiful Thistle House warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Cairngorm Suite, a beautiful room with everything you could need and more, and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was also to a high standard with great local produce. "We had a two night stay at 2 stones. Ben greeted us and was very welcoming, friendly & informative. We had a fabulous view looking out over loch Long. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. A decent sized bathroom although the shower was a little 'snug'. There was traffic noise from the road but it didn't affect our stay. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices. We would definitely return."

"The hotel roomed seemed spacious and clean. The shower ran out of hot water first thing in the morning. I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. And my husband was charged $10 for a small bowl of cereal and a coffee which is steep. "
