"It’s a charming older hotel with a lot of character. Rooms are quiet, clean & tidy. Stayed for a week & was extremely comfortable. Used their restaurant for all the breakfasts and sometimes their lunch or dinner menu’s too. There were a variety of options on the menu, good value and very satisfying."

"Staying in an historic hotel with décor to match is very romantic. The rooms were a bit cold - but the extra heaters were a blessing. Wish we could have been seated in the older section of the dining area to maintain the ambience of the evening with my husband."

"What a fabulous find! We decided on a last minute overnight and luckily found this great place. Really friendly welcome - the owners both work in the business - Pete front of house and Elliot is the chef responsible for the excellent food. We were in room 3, which was very spacious, with a settee at the foot of the very comfortable bed.
