"Very basic hotel, very friendly staff, rooms don't use swipe cards but an actual key that you have to give to reception every time you leave the hotel, convenient store on bottom floor, plenty of dining options, 5 minutes walk to Fukuyama Station. "

"Very nice traditional Japanese hotel within 5 minutes walking distance from the Tourist Information Center if you took the public bus. I stayed in a Japanese style room with ocean view and slept on futon laid on tatami. Dinner and breakfast were included in the room rate, and the food was pretty good (kind of in fine-dining style). They have shuttle bus service from and to Fukuyama Station so be sure to take advantage of it. The welcome drink that they serve when you check in was nice."

"Its a unique type of hotel staying in a converted shipping container but i like it! Very comfortable and everything was brand new and clean. It was honestly bigger than my Tokyo hotel and it had free parking. They even give you a snack meal for each day you stay per person. Didnt expect that at all. "This is an old merchant house that has been nicely remodeled as a hotel. It's smack in the middle of Tomonoura's historic renewal district. The room I had was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. This hotel requires some pre-planning: getting the shuttle bus from Fukuyama, making sure basic needs are met (no onsite staff, except at breakfast time). In my case, I was driven over to the hotel from the shuttle stop and given a thorough and friendly introduction to everything about the room,...
