"It was great to look at the lake. Just be prepared for a lot of stairs and narrow streets with a lot of turns. Some of the issues were that there was still some food left in the fridge, the garbage wasn't clean, the hot water finishes pretty quickly!"

"Historic villa property beautifully restored in an amazing location with amazing view. Lunch and dinners on the covered veranda. Would have been better if bath for second bedroom were not down the hall. The owner was wonderful. At our request arranged for a private chef to come to the villa which was lots of fun, and delicious. She also arranged for restaurant reservation for the evening we arrived. Owner communication was excellent! We loved our stay!!!"

"Plenty of room for everyone and stunning views of Lake Como! We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after a day of exploring Varenna and Menaggio. "There were no surprises when we arrived and checked out the house. It was very thoughtful that there were some food items for our arrival. Everything worked fine and the owner was responsible for a couple of maintenance issues. The yard lights did not come on the last two nights and we missed them. Getting around the area by walking is a little sketchy because the roadway is narrow. We found the ferry stop 10 minutes from the house very convenient."

"Beautiful old villa in a wonderful neighborhood outside of Menaggio. It was just what we were looking for. The manager was very responsive to all communications. Because the villa is so old, there were some tech issues that the manager was quick to resolve (tripped circuits when cooking, internet). Bedrooms had cold AC. "The house is in a good location and neighborhood and has outstanding views of the lake and mountains."

"The property and views were wonderful and Mr. Luigi was fantastic. PLEASE do yourself a favor and enter the address into Google or Apple Maps and DO NOT rely on the map within the VRBO app. It is wrong. This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is."

"We had a great time. The house was charming and very comfortable. It is convenient to restaurants coffee shops and the grocery store are all within walking distant. The house was spacious and very nice. Typical European layout. I would definitely stay here again. Como is so beautiful. Blows Hawaii away. Sorry Kapalua, Maui you are now #2 in my heart. Although Sansei Restaurant in Maui is the best restaurant in the world hands down."

"This was a great location on a quiet street that had numerous restaurants and bars but didn't feel busy. The check-in was sent ahead of time, so our very late arrival was not an issue. Parking was a little odd but once we figured it out it was very easy and secure. The breakfast option was just right. The room was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this location."
